[00:00:00] Foreign. [00:00:07] Welcome to Just say Something Podcast. I'm your host, Philip Clark, and today I get to talk about something that's brand new, something we've been quietly building behind the scenes that I'm finally able to share. [00:00:25] If you supported our mission, our programs, our families, or even just listen to this podcast, then you know how much we value community. [00:00:36] Everything we do comes back to creating safe, supportive spaces where young people can thrive and families feel connected. [00:00:49] Next year, we're taking that idea and turning it into a whole new kind of celebration. [00:00:59] I'm thrilled to announce to officially announce the Sip Off, a first of its kind mocktail fundraiser happening on the Evening of Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the schoolhouse in Travelers Rest. [00:01:23] And let me tell you, this will not be your typical fundraiser at the Sip Off. [00:01:31] We're flipping the script on what a fundraiser event can look like. This night will be fun, creative and full of energy without the alcohol. [00:01:47] We're bringing in talented local mixologists who will compete to create the best zero proof cocktail you've ever tasted. [00:01:58] These aren't just mocktails. These are handcrafted flavor forward drinks built with intention and artistry. [00:02:08] Our team has already started connecting with local pros and the creativity they're bringing to the table is incredible. [00:02:18] And because Greenville loves a friendly competition, we're inviting local celebrities to step behind the bar and get in on the action. [00:02:30] You'll see familiar faces from community leaders to media personalities to folks you've watched around Greenville for years, shaking, stirring and pouring their way through the night. [00:02:44] Each celebrity will be paired with a mixologist and together they'll compete for bragging rights, a shiny trophy, and the very first Sip off title. [00:02:57] This night isn't just about sipping great zero proof cocktails. [00:03:02] We're talking live entertainment. A vibrant atmosphere, opportunities to mingle, laugh, reconnect and be part of something that feels special from the moment you walk in the door. [00:03:17] We'll have music and live performances, a lineup of auction items and experiences that you'll be excited to bid on, and a space designed for connection, conversations and fun. [00:03:34] This is the type of event where people show up for drinks but stay for the energy, the stories and the shared purpose. [00:03:45] So here's why the Sip off matters. [00:03:48] At its core, the Sip off is about the same thing our organization is about supporting our community. [00:03:56] When you buy a ticket, when you bid on an auction item, or when you sponsor this event, you aren't just participating in a fun night. You are directly supporting programs that help young people build resilience, helps young people make healthy choices and helps young people to navigate an increasingly complex world. [00:04:24] You're helping families access education, training and support that strengthens the home and strengthens our community. [00:04:36] And you're helping us expand prevention work that truly changes lives. [00:04:44] This is the inaugural year of the SIP off, and we believe it's the beginning of something that will grow into a Greenville tradition, one that celebrates creativity, connection and community without relying on alcohol to make it memorable. [00:05:02] It's a chance to bring people together in a new way. [00:05:06] It's a chance to start fresh conversations around wellness and prevention. [00:05:13] And it's a chance to show that fun, flavor and great entertainment don't require a drop of alcohol to make that impact. [00:05:25] Would you like to be involved? [00:05:27] If your business or organization wants to join us as a founding sponsor, this is the moment. Sponsor opportunities for 2026 are officially open and I would love to talk with you about being part of year one. [00:05:48] Just email me at philipustsaysaysaysaysomethingsc.org and I will walk you through the options. [00:05:58] Tickets and more details will roll out after the first of the year. [00:06:02] But now do me a huge favor. [00:06:06] Grab your phone, open your calendar, scroll to next year and save the date. [00:06:14] February 26, 2026. [00:06:18] The sip off the schoolhouse in Travelers Rest. [00:06:24] You don't want to miss the debut of this event. [00:06:31] And also one of our partners, Southern Way Catering, will have food that will be paired with our different mocktails. [00:06:45] So it's going to be awesome. [00:06:50] Okay, well, thank you for listening today, thank you for continuing to support our work, and thank you for being part of the community that believes in showing up for kids and families. [00:07:05] I can't wait to share the night of February 26th with you and I'll have much more on this event in the weeks ahead. [00:07:16] Be sure to share like and follow this podcast and we'll see you in the new year. Thanks again.
